... is another man's treasure. I decided to paint this while I was watching Ed, Edd n Eddy. I find junkyards and antiques fascinating as they tell stories of the past. The sunflower symbolizes optimism—it’s buds follow the sun, and when it blooms, the flower will forever face East; where the sun rises. This reminds us that each day brings new possibilities. Even if you’re sitting on a mound of garbage, the sun will rise.
