I painted this en Plein Air at the 2022 Keyport Art Around the Bay event. This landscape came entirely from my imagination. I wanted to evoke a sense of peace. It shows a place where the line between reality and fantasy blur together as one; inviting the viewer to lose themselves in the endless possibilities of imagination. I believe this painting captures the essence of a space that exists beyond the waking world, where the mind is able to wander and explore the extraordinary.
My boyfriend painted a “Robot from Hell” that day and sold it for 83 cents and a bag of Wild Berry Skittles. I haven’t sold mine yet, that’s why it’s here. Maybe I should just sell it for Skittles and pocket change as well...
