Bangkok, Thailand- Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall

$700.00

Artist: Lexi Bruno
Year:
2024
Dimensions:
8x10"
Medium:
Acrylic on canvas

Built in 1789 by King Rama I, this royal audience all at the Grand Palace caught my eye with it's red and green, multi-tiered spired roof. I don’t know much more about it, unfortunately. I read somewhere that the spires symbolize the center of the universe, but I can’t really verify that—I might have come across it on Reddit.

When I was in Bangkok our tour guide made me take a picture in front of the bathrooms here. Still not sure why
